Whilst focusing on History, Politics and Law during her university years Alexia always knew food was her passion.
Currently working in Finance, her determination has driven her to set up GRAIN & BOWL an idea she has been working on for over a year.
Inspired by her restaurateur father and his obsession with food, as well as her own food intolerances, Alexia wanted to create products that not only cater to the growing free from market but also took flavours to the next level. The latter, combining flavour with free from, was an area where she saw a complete gap in the market.
Her first product launched in June 2016, granola naturally sweetened with pure maple syrup and coconut sugar, has received renowned feedback and she is now in discussions with retailers.
Her aim is to broaden the availability of exciting, healthy, free from products within the retail world and to teach a wider audience that healthy NEVER needs to compromise on taste.
